Now Available , metal thermostat housing upper and lower for v6 4.0 Mustang. Comes with a new oring for the thermostat, lower housing (special seal) for connection to the head and a new oring for the temperature sensor. This is made in America and not in China. Finally an alternative to the plastic pieces that fail all the time. Only replace the parts once and your done.

This is a cast aluminum engineered part made in America. Special Note: The lower housing is a one piece cast aluminum part, the other part on the market has a two piece lower which can leak like the plastic one did and has steel inserts holding it together which will CAUSE CORROSION. Included: Temp sensor o-ring, o-ring for thermostat (goes on top of it), seal between cylinder head and thermostat housing (on the bottom of the housing) and my own added gasket that goes between the upper and lower housings.

Used for metal fretting and secondary seal. Does not take the place of the o-ring on top of the thermostat. New for 2017 my new product gasket that goes under the lower housing to cylinder head area.

Use it with the seal that goes into the groove and will add 200% more sealing capacity to that area which removes the need to add rtv. Now: Includes the new gasket that goes bwtween the cylinder head and lower thermostat housing. Can be used with the seal in the groove.

One piece lower aluminum cast housing. The only one piece lower housing on the market, THe other metal housing is a two piece lower design and you can see what I mean by going to you tube and looking up chinese knockoff metal thermostat housing.
